Trophy Shot
Yesterday, we took the dogs for a swim in the local creek. Usually, I take my camera along to get some macro shots of the birds, insects, etc. This time, my wife was in a rush, so I didn’t get my camera – and of course saw a lot of cool stuff I wanted to shoot. Then, on the way home, we see a Red-tailed Hawk on the ground with a kill. AAAAGGGGHHHHH – missed shot!
Being the tenacious (some might say OCD) person I am, after rinsing off the dogs, I grabbed the camera and headed back on the off-chance that it was still there. Luckily, it was.
