Gummi Art - The Inspiration

Marty November 15th, 2007

I just wanted to put up something that I started working on a week ago. I thought it might be interesting to see how the creative process worked for me doing some of the gummi shots I did at Halloween.

The seance shot that I did was one of the last concepts that I drew up … almost a parting shot, but it ended up being one of my favorite shots.

On the other hand, the shot that I loved the most in concept ended up being one of the toughest ones to get and one of the ones that I was the least satisfied with (although it did still come out moderately well) - the gummi in the forest.

And one last shot was originally just a series of different Halloween Gummi figures that ended up being in a single shot.

Sorry about the quality of the scans - but I was using the scanner at work and it isn’t really meant for drawings.

that’s really cool. i’ve seen that notebook first hand and i promise other zealot readers, it will be in an art gallery one day when the world wakes up and recognizes gummi art as the next movement.
