We appreciated your invitation, but we weren't really anywhere near that area. Charlotte was the furthest east we went, and even that was really out of the way of the main purpose of our trip. Maybe sometime in the future. Those floods and huge amounts of rain you heard about went to the north of us, we didn't get any of it. Which is the way it's been with most rains this summer -- they've just missed us. Things are extremely dry here right now. A lot of local creeks have dried up, and leaves are starting to fall off some trees already. That sounds like a great trip. There were definitely plenty of bumble bees!
