Being Coy

The wife and I decided to take a day to go out and see what there was to see along the Jersey coast today. After a pretty disappointing selection at Barnegat Lighthouse (more songbirds than seabirds), we went to Forsythe NWR in Brigantine. It was also fairly slow, but what we did see what pretty cool.

This Greater Yellowlegs was among the highlights of the day - s/he let me get within about 3m, clicking away. Definitely needs to be seen larger (or original size).
