Spinal Tap

Yesterday was such a scattered day - mostly because I was worried about my wife, who was having a lumbar puncture (i.e. a spinal tap) for some tests to figure out exactly what has been going on with her health. The procedure itself is scary enough, but watching her go through the painful aftermath has been agonizing. The intense pain, the dizziness and the spinal headache have been wiping her out and there are limits to what she can take because of the reason for the pain. Worse, there is very little I can do to help. This test had better tell us something to make this worth it.
